Creating Smart Collections
Searching and creating dynamically updating collections.
Color Finale LUTs supports Smart Collections. These are collections to which you cannot drag LUTs from the Gallery because they are populated by creating a search query after which the app will automatically add LUTs when they match the query. Searching LUTs with Color Finale LUTs is very powerful as its search form supports Regular Expressions!
To create a Smart Collection:
- Click the Plus button next to “Smart Collections” in the LUTs management tab — a query form slides open.
- Fill in the search query arguments, e.g. LUT name or modification date, a Regex expression…
- Give the Smart Collection a meaningful name and click the Add Collection button.
Note
Your Smart Collection appears in the LUTS management tab of the Inspector. Selecting it will list all the LUTs that match the query. You can delete smart collections by right-clicking the name in the list and selecting “Remove” from the context menu.Feedback
