Viewing Multiple Images

Viewing multiple images with multiple LUTs.

Color Finale LUTs offers single, double and quadruple Image Viewing. What does that mean? It means that you can open up to four large views of the same image with four different LUTs applied. It also means you can have four different images shown larger than is possible in the Gallery view with four of the same or a mixture of LUTs applied to them.

To view four of the same images with four different LUTs applied to them:

  1. Select Quad View from the drop-down menu at the top right of the Image View — all four panels will have the same LUT applied.
  2. Click the title bar of the second image and select a different LUT in the Gallery view without double-clicking.
  3. Repeat step 2 for the remaining two image slots. You now have four LUTs applied to a single test image. The best way to really be able to compare the effects of the LUTs is to enlarge the Image View by clicking the full-window button at the top left. To switch from one image to the next, click the title bar of each image — it will turn blue. Once it’s blue, you can apply a different LUT by selecting and double-clicking one from the Gallery.
